1. Using Sohum Fam
Sohum Fam is intended for personal, household use by families organizing their everyday life. Core features work without creating an account. If you set up a family space, you're responsible for what you and the members you add to it do within that space, and for keeping any device or optional sign-in you use to access it secure.
2. Family spaces and user content
You own the content you add to your family space — notes, recipes, documents, health and finance entries, and everything else. Sohum Fam supports parent and child roles within a shared family space; a parent or admin role can manage what child roles can see and do. Because data is stored locally by default, removing the app from a device removes that device's copy of the data — export a copy first from Settings if you want to keep one.
3. AI-assisted features
Stree, the built-in assistant, can help with planning, ideas, recipes, and everyday organizing. Like any AI assistant, it can be wrong or incomplete, and it is not a substitute for professional advice — including medical, financial, legal, or educational advice — even when a feature touches on health, money, or schoolwork. Use your own judgment before acting on anything it suggests.
4. Availability and changes
We may add, change, or remove features over time as the app evolves, including features currently in preview. We'll aim to keep this page and the in-app experience consistent with each other.
5. Payments
Sohum Fam does not currently charge for any feature. If paid features are introduced in the future, this section will be updated first, along with the relevant store listing, before anything is charged.
6. Privacy and deletion
See the Privacy Policy for how your data is handled, and Account & Data Deletion for how to permanently erase your family's data at any time.
7. Disclaimers and liability
Sohum Fam is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. This section will be finalized with the legal entity and jurisdiction above confirmed.
